Decoration Setup/Takedown Instructions

Decoration Setup Duties:

  • Get the 2 gray boxes and the black crate from upstairs

  • Raise the garage door just folks can walk under - we’ll raise it more latera

    • MAKE SURE TO REPLACE THE PIN TO ENSURE IT DOES NOT FALL

  • Take tables from the closet door next to the main door

    • Set one up outside for check in

    • Set one up inside in corner near double doors for DJ

      • Get the black lifters from the closet and place the DJ table on them

    • Cover both tables with cloth

  • Set up check in table (most of the items will be in the crate)

    • Sign-in sign

    • Cash box

    • Venmo sheet

    • Guidelines

    • Check in sheet

    • Liability waiver

    • Keiki Guidelines

    • Dancing solo buttons

    • Portable light (charge if necessary)

  • Set up rope lights

    • They’ll plug into the outlet on the left of the door next to the garage

    • Use clamps to string them along the upper edge of the mirror

  • Set up flags (usually over the black curtains

  • Elegantly hang various cloth over the ballet bars (mindful of color pallet)

  • Set up fake candles throughout the room

  • Optionally set pineapples on tables near the mirror

  • Set up any other lights we have that would look nice with the vibe

  • After DJ/Sound system is set up:

    • Clamp cloth to the garage door and lift higher

    • Make sure the cloth is symmetrical/even

    • Set up altar (be creative!)

Take Down Duties:

  • All of the above in reverse

  • Make sure to put things back where you found them (there are photos on each container showing what should be in it)

  • Make sure you fold the cloth nicely
